Norman J. KahnCEO / Executive Producer
Norm brings over 25 years of global design and production leadership to Utopia Worldwide. A specialist in immersive themed attractions, he’s known for delivering innovative, large-scale experiences from concept to completion, supported by a trusted network of top designers, fabricators, and production partners.
Norm’s experience includes serving as General Manager and SVP at Soundelux Showorks (2000–2002), where he led global theme park production. As Vice President of Entertainment at Universal Studios Hollywood (1996–2000), he managed a $25 million budget, oversaw 600+ staff, and delivered over 15,000 live shows annually.

Earlier, he spent eight years at Universal Creative (1988–1996) as Show Producer and Project Manager, developing attractions such as Jurassic Park, Back to the Future: The Ride, and Jaws. In 1996, he led creation of WaterWorld – A Live Sea War Spectacular, which earned a TEA Award and for which he holds a U.S. patent for innovative stage design.





Noberto UrreaDirector of Production    
Norberto brings over a decade of experience in the events industry, with roles at LA Works and the Edinburgh Royal Botanical Gardens.
Norberto’s background includes costuming, set construction, lighting, and project management. He holds an MS in International Festival and Event Management from Edinburgh Napier University. Starting as a Production Assistant at Utopia, he rose to Director of Production and now supports all phases of project development and execution.





Rob CarreiroTechnical Director
Rob is a seasoned Technical Director with a background in construction, theater, theme parks, and live events. Known for his versatility and quick problem-solving, he’s the go-to for complex projects of any size.
In prior roles, Rob spent five years as a Project Manager at Pacific Event Services, overseeing production for projects up to $2M, including design, budgeting, scheduling, and technical logistics.

He previously served six years as a Production Manager at Utopia, leading complex, large-scale projects up to $5M across attractions, live shows, operations, and training.




Hailey BuckCreative Manager
Hailey leads the Utopia Creative Studio, managing an internal team and collaborating with top industry designers to deliver standout results. A true jack-of-all-trades, she supports projects through every phase — from concept to production to opening.
Hailey graduated with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a degree in Theatre and Performance Studies. Her thesis focused on environmental and interactive theater, reflecting her passion for immersive storytelling.

She has worked with both the San Francisco Playhouse and Aurora Theater, gaining hands-on experience in preproduction through live performance.





Maura ChavezProduction Manager
Maura supports both on-site execution and behind-the-scenes planning. After working across several departments, she’s found her passion in entertainment management, where creativity and coordination meet.
Maura brings dedication, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills to every project she supports at Utopia. In helping to establish the Events Division at Warner Brothers Studio Tours, paired with a range of certifications, reflects a commitment to learning and adaptability.

She thrives in fast-paced environments where teamwork and creative thinking are key to success.






Kevin AlarconLead Production Tech
As Lead Production Technician, Kevin brings precision to lighting and rigging for high-impact events, ensuring smooth execution from setup to showtime. His technical skill and steady presence make him a trusted part of every production.
Kevin’s expertise spans the entire production process — from efficient setup to the meticulous breakdown of complex systems.

He combines deep technical knowledge with hands-on problem-solving to ensure every component functions seamlessly, even under tight timelines and demanding conditions. His commitment to flawless execution, reliability under pressure, and attention to detail make him essential.
